Pickup/Collection:
We offer flexible pick up options which suits your requirement and convenience. Being a supporting service to air travellers, you have the option to drop off your excess luggage to our airport office conveniently located near Dubai International Airport Terminal.

Furthermore, our experienced pick up staff is geared to pick up the luggage from the convenience of your home, office or any location. They are well equipped to weigh the luggage on the spot, complete the required documentation and deliver it to the airline for shipment. It is required to arrange the payment at the time of pick-up unless agreed otherwise in advance. Payment can be made either by cash or credit card.

Documentation:
We will process the complete documentation required for shipping your luggage and as part of the documentation pre-requisites, the following should be handed over to our collection staff:

• Passport Copy with Visa details
• Detailed packing list for the items with an approximate value for customs purposes
• Complete destination address with contact numbers (phone and fax)
• A signed security declaration document

Security:
Being a licensed cargo agent, and regulated under department of Civil Aviation, Total Freight International’s XS Baggage Services maintains higher levels of security standards for all goods handled.

Packaging:
Adequate and appropriate packaging ensures safe and undisruptive delivery of the goods to the final destination. It is appropriate to carry your personal belongings in suitcases, backpacks, and cardboard cartons. In the event of any additional packing requirement, we at Total XS Baggage can assist and ensure that all packaging materials are strong and durable enough to protect the content. If required, you can always reach us over the phone for guidance on packaging. Total XS Baggage Services can offer you industry standard packaging cartons with following sizes at additional cost:

Large Volume Items:
There are items that are extraordinary in size but lighter on weight such as surfboards, huge toys, foam structures etc. Such items are categorized as “volumetric” and are charged by the airline based on the space occupied in the aircraft rather than the weight. The standard formula for calculating volumetric cargo is: Length (cm) x Width (cm) x Height (cm) divided by 6000.

Example: 52 x 94 x 61 equals 49.69 kilos which rounds up to 50 kilos.

The above figure (50 kilos) is the volumetric weight equivalent for which you will be charged for transporting a personal belonging which exceeds the permissible volume.

Storage:
Storage can be point of concern when you decide to ship your luggage at a later stage, as you may want to consolidate other items as well to the same shipment, which are not yet purchased. With Total XS Baggage Services storage solutions, you have the flexibility to store them at our secured storage facility at nominal extra cost. Insurance:
Total Freight International LLC being an IATA CASS approved cargo agent, as part of our mandatory requirement, by default all goods handled and dispatched XS Baggage Services are covered by airline insurance coverage. We insure every kilogram of the consignment for US$ 20.00 against negligence or willful damage by the airline (carrier) provided there has been no contributory negligence by the shipper, consignee or other claimant such as insufficient packaging etc.

In the event if you want a customized Insurance coverage based on the actual value of the luggage, we can provide you the same for an extra fee provided we’re furnished with complete details and cost proofs.

Port and Customs Clearance:
We have necessary arrangements in place at selected ports from our vast network to perform customs clearance formalities and release the consignment from the port.

Delivery:
We are capable of arranging door-to-door delivery to selected cities and places around the globe. Our customer service agents can assist you with the door-to-door coverage.

InBound Clearance of Personal Effects:
Our XS Baggage Services offer customs clearance and delivery of your Inbound personal effects shipment arriving thru all UAE Airport / Sea ports and deliver them to your door step.
